The house was built and designed by Dale Naegle in 1968 in San Diego for Sam Bell. Bell purchased a summer home overlooking the Pacific Ocean and wanted to attach guest house. The area was 300 feet in the rocks, plus an isolated beach in front of the house. The shape was not chosen randomly, presumably it is safe structure that will cope with any natural mood: wave, rock falls, earthquakes.
