It seems that the future is now, at least in individual countries. Israeli startup Aleph Farms were grown in vitro beef, for which the same can not only enjoy. Steak produced in the laboratory without killing the animal meat, first came to the table and was valued by gourmets.
The Israeli steak tubes created Aleph Farms - a real food revolution. Prior to this artificial meat scientists were in 2013. It was minced synthesized protein from which cooked hamburger. A simple meal of fast food with an innovative cutlet, given the costs of research and production, the experts estimated at several hundred thousand dollars.
Of course, neither of which the mass production of the question, and a unique dish was simply proof that the meat can be obtained without killing animals. The truth is established in 2013, the product can be called meat with a huge stretch.
The Israeli startup go the other way and abandoned protein synthesis. The basis of the product taken calf stem cells so grown meat can hereby be called without exaggeration. This is not an abstract formless beef, and a full piece of beef, a small, but having a density, texture, color, and most importantly the taste of meat.
"Make a hamburger or sausage from cells grown outside the animal, it is difficult enough, but imagine how difficult it is to create a steak from whole muscle fibers."
So says the work of his team, Didier Touba - CEO Aleph Farms.
"Pure meat", namely the so-called products derived from animal cells is the goal of many companies. The company, which was able to commercialize the production of such meat, instantly make their owners billionaires. But as long as the production of muscle fibers under laboratory conditions - expensive and, unfortunately, a thankless task, consuming a lot of time. Even start-Aleph Farms, which is now ahead of the rest spent on the production of very small steaks about 3 weeks.
By the way, do you think that happened with the first steak "pure meat"? Ironically, the same as with the usual steak - it roasted and ate creators. Honor to prepare the first in the history of mankind from the cell dish of meat, had the Israeli chef Alan Amir (Amir Ilan). Cook said that as the piece of meat was small, its preparation took less than a minute.
"For me, this is a meaningful experience - try the meat, which has the appearance of beef, but it was grown without antibiotics and harm animals or the environment."

Meanwhile, not all excited about "pure meat." At the beginning of 2018 of the major manufacturers of meat declared strong protest scientist. According to them, the resulting "in vitro" the product has no right to be called meat and such wording could mislead consumers.
