Alpine apartment complex "BIG's Hualien Residences"
In Taiwan, Hualien City is building a new high-altitude residential complex called BIG's Hualien Residences. Judging by the project, the residential complex will be one of its kind to inspire and dispose of its people to a healthy lifestyle. The roofs of the buildings will be performed in green and provided with stripes planted with grass - such design should greatly reduce the greenhouse effect produced by the building. Inside, in addition to the apartments, there will be special running tracks and paths leading to the beach.
The Community Center "Burnazzi Feltrin's Community Center"
The community center in the town of Poggio Pichentse (Poggio Picenze) in Italy, and was the winner of the contest. The new building was built on the site of the old one, which was destroyed by an earthquake in 2009. The building's architecture follows the general style of his predecessor, however, it differs in several new elements, such as wood veneer (larch) and so-called "roof of Norway" - a real lawn on the roof.
